Because most conferences require submissions a few months before the actual conference occurs, here are some basic dates to keep in mind while completing your research. These international psychology and law conferences are great venues for new and exciting research, including masters theses and doctoral dissertations. Some of these will require you to have your data collected and analyzed at time of submission in order to be eligible to present, so plan ahead!

While this list is by no means exhaustive, below are some of the major conferences in the area to look forward to. This post will be updated as new information becomes available.

• The 2012 AP-LS Conference (North America) will take place March 14-17, 2012, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Abstracts for this conference were due September 23rd, 2011.

• The 2012 EAPL Conference (Europe) will be held on April 10-13, 2012, in Nicosia, Cyprus. Abstracts for this conference are due December 15th, 2011. NOTE: the dates for this conference have changed.

• The 2012 IAFMHS Conference (International) will be held on April 22-24 in Miami, USA. Abstracts for this conference were due October 27th, 2011.

• The 2012 LSA Conference (International) will be held on June 5-8 in Honolulu, USA. Abstracts for this conference are due December 6th, 2011.

• The 2012 NNPL Conference (Nordic countries) will be held on September 7-8 in Kiel, Germany. Abstracts for this conference are due in the spring of 2012.

• The 2012 ANZAPPL Conference (Australia & New Zealand) will be held on November 22-25 in Melbourne, Australia. Abstracts for this conference will likely be due in June, 2012.
