EAPL Mission Statement
The Goals of our Parent Organization, the European Association of Psychology and Law, are:
- The promotion and development of research
- Improvements in legal procedures, teaching, and practice in the field of psychology and law (e.g., legal psychology, criminological psychology, forensic psychology) within Europe
- The interchange of information throughout the world aimed toward an international cooperation.
Among other activities, the EAPL strives to reach these goals through:
- The organization of conferences
- The promotion of scientific communication and cooperations between psychologists, lawyers, and other related profession
- The publication of manuscripts the promotion of research projects and programs
- The facilitation of academic education and postgraduate training
- The cooperation of divisions, associations, and institutions of psychology and law
- The provision of information to the public
